HALLOWEEN MASKS
You can extend the
life of your Latex mask by storing them properly. The best way we've
found to store latex masks is on a Styrofoam wig stand. These are
shaped like a human head and only cost a couple of dollars at beauty
supply stores. Masks should be store in a cool, dark, dry place.
Exposure to sunlight or excessive temperatures for a prolonged
period can cause the colors to fade and damage the latex, causing it
the mask crack. For more information on masks

Some masks may look very cool but
always try them on before you buy. Make sure that the eye holes fit
properly, that you can breathe well and that it's going to be
comfortable to wear all night long. Halloween masks may sound great
but wearing latex and fur on your head all night long may prove to
be more than you bargained for. Read more about masks
here.
Instead of a full mask, go for
latex prosthetics or full make-up. There are a number of books out
about the how-to's of making your own and applying mask-like
make-up.

Many Halloween costumes for kids
come with masks. Instead of using the mask, it's better to do a face
make-up on them. Unless the mask fits perfectly, the eye holes are
big enough, the nose openings are big enough, the child will not
enjoy spending a night of trick or treating when they can see or
breathe. Read
safety tips here.
Some great masks are available
that really make the costumes they got with, like Bettlejuice,
Michael Myers, Freddy Kreuger.
